My Final Front Cover

Another Draft

During my production I decided to try and stick to a specific colour palette of red, white and black. I decided this was better because I feel it gave a the cover a better look and was similar to other rock magazines I had got inspiration from. I then decided to change the button colour from yellow to red as  thought it gave a crisper finish and maintained the same colours throughout. I also included sell lines to see how they would look however i thought they looked misplaced and didn't work well with the rest of the design aspects.I also changed the button font as in the previous images they held a more retro vibe rather than rock and opted for a blurry styled text to link with my overall theme and its house style. I also experimented with the banner which was previously red, I opted to change this for black and white as they are a good contrast and maintain the consistent style I also thought the red drew too much attention from the artist on the cover and wanted to keep it quite minimal but edgy.
