Although Rock in general as a genre is quite chaotic, it still has some quite minimal covers that focus on the artwork and image rather than advertising which is the look I was aiming to achieve with my cover as it is centred around the image. I decided to chose this style as it was ore challenging I my opinion to pull off as it still has to capture the target audience and be evidently the rock genre. In the bottom right classic rock cover the artist is seen to take up a large proportion of cover with minimal text similarly to my cover however I opted to include other magazine conventions such as the banner and the button as well as the minimal colour palette.
